Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic piano/music teacher with a passion for inspiring creative and motivated pupils. I have always been highly committed to both the study of music and opportunities to perform. I have achieved grade 8 piano and I practice music from the diploma repertoire to progress further musical techniques. My experience as a performer includes wedding entertainment, singing for numerous showcases, and other events. I enjoy learning the flute in my spare time and I hope to use this instrument in future performances. Non musical hobbies include the study of Italian, reading and keeping fit.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching pupils of all ages for several years and I thoroughly enjoy transferring the musical knowledge I have accumulated over time. It's extremely rewarding to watch student from the first lesson, blossom in into an inspiring musician and performer. One to one lessons are appointed throughout the weekdays, focusing on piano, music theory and GCSE music. In addition to this, I have directed the music for warrington scouts gang show (a stage performance collaborating music, drama and dance). This has involved organising, editing, teaching and conducting the music for a large group of Cubs, scouts ,explorers and leaders. One to one vocal coaching has also been exercised for the soloists in the show. Outside of this, I have supervised for WASPS after school club and assisted a primary school teacher of a year six class at Tower College private school.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to teaching is well structured, with a balance of practical techniques and the study of music theory. I incorporate musical memory games such as flash cards to keep the lesson fun and engaging. Lessons flow at a steady pace, ensuring the pupil is consolidating all of the information at comfortable level. I encourage pupils to aim towards ABRSM examinations, however I understand that some pupils may prefer to learn casually. Many musical genres are covered, such as Classical, jazz, pop, theatre and lots more. Over all, lessons are both fun and rewarding to ensure the pupil gets the very best musical tuition.
