I am a fully qualified Maths Teacher, with a great passion for my subject and my job. I have 17 years experience working in education in a variety of schools and colleges.
Two years ago I moved from London where I held a senior management post to live in Deal.. Since my move, I have worked full time in a Dover secondary mainstream school.
I started my career as a secondary maths teacher and later worked in a school dedicated to support and reintegrate students who struggled to cope in a mainstream environment. I teach maths at a range of levels from basic numeracy to A-level. I have experience in working with students re-sitting their maths GCSE as well as students who have additional needs, supporting them to improve their maths.
I am available at any time of the week, except for Sundays (although this is negotiable). All tutoring would take place at my own home or in any other location, if requested, with no further cost. I am highly organised and I will provide plenty of resources for the lessons, as well as tracking of progress and full program of study. I have a positive and encouraging approach giving learners the space to work at the pace and in the style that suits them best resulting in a challenging and appropriate learning program. This way, they can fill the gaps in their knowledge and build the confidence to master new areas of maths.
