Catherine

Dulwich Tutor

I am an English literature and Drama graduate currently working as an ELT and media trainer with the BBC. I have a background in teaching and radio and online production and have travelled and worked abroad extensively.

Tutoring Experience

I qualified as a teacher in 1984. I have worked in many language schools in London, and have tutored children and adults extensively privately but also within English boarding schools and through my job as an ELT and media trainer for the BBC. I have worked as a freelance ELT materials writer as well as working as a radio and online producer of English teaching programmes. I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development.

Tutoring Approach

Each client is different and has different needs. I would adapt my approach according to the client's needs as this is not a 'one size fits all' industry. However, it is very important to that all lessons are enjoyable and rewarding, with key objectives and aims.
