I am a journalist and a writer and I teach Italian because I love this language and I would like to share it with as many people as I can. With a BA degree in Italian grammar and literature, I can teach children and adults alike.
To confirm my skills, I can tell you that I am also in the team of teachers of the SIAL, who is appointed by the Consulate General of Italy in London to run all the Italian courses for children in schools in England under its patronage. These courses are endorsed and supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Since the beginning of my career as a teacher, I have provided my pupils with tailor-made programmes, that are different for children, young people and adult learners. I have experience also with Gcse and A Level exams preparation.
I can teach in my house or come to your home. I am also available for lessons via Skype.
Student's needs are my priority. That's also why I always prepare my lessons according to their preferences and interests. I am communicative and sociable. I use conversation as an instrument to enrich the skills of the students and to understand any problem, then I give space to the four skills of the language: Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading. And, of course, I add a bit of fun, giving tips about living in Italy, travelling in my country, visiting well known destinations and secret places. My motto is: learning is easier if you can enjoy it!
