I have tutored physics, maths and chemistry to a variety of students for nearly 10 years. I also have experience teaching in a secondary school. Alongside tutoring, I work as a science radio producer at the BBC. I studied physics at Cambridge as an undergraduate and completed a masters in science communication at Imperial College London. I have been invited to speak at Halstead Preparatory School Speech day and Imperial College London seminars.
I have nearly 10 years experience of private tuition, working for several agencies and teaching physical sciences to a wide age group. I taught a GCSE physics class in my final year at university and I also have experience helping with Oxbridge applications. I have also taught a short radio course at Imperial College London.
I find my students achieve the best results when they enjoy the lessons and develop a genuine passion for their subject. Alongside covering the specification I like to relate physics and maths to everyday life. It is a job well done when my tutee gets the grade she/he was aiming for and walks away with a genuine interest in the physical sciences.
