Information About Caroline - Eastleigh tutor - (3 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Caroline:
I have just moved to Hampshire from the South West but have also recently lived in France with my family for five years and my French is current. I have children from 17 - 3 and am aware of the challenges young people face when learning a modern language.
I have taught both primary and secondary school French and was the Head of Languages in a school in the South West for over ten years. I have also tutored pupils at all levels both at home and at adult education classes. I am familiar with the requirements for the Common Entrance and Scholarship examinations as well as GCSE and A Level.
Tutoring enables a tailor-made approach to suit the needs of the student. The primary focus is to increase the students' confidence when communicating in the target language and then to progress the four skills of writing, reading, listening and speaking. I will work closely with parents to ensure that pupils improve to the best of their ability. Importance is given to the understanding of grammar but not in a manner which is overbearing.
