Information About Carla - Oxford tutor
Hola! I am 23-year-old Spanish master student from Barcelona who is performing a 5-month internship in the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry Laboratory at Oxford University. My intellectual curiosity and passion for asking questions led me to pursue a bachelor in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Throughout those years, I acquired a solid background in Physics, Biology and Chemistry which gave me a new and beautiful perspective of the world that surround us.
In 2015, I moved out to Utrecht (The Netherlands) to perform a 2-years master program in Nanomaterials, which I expect to complete it this upcoming August.
Now in here, I would be more than happy to help those of you that want to improve or begin with the Spanish language.
I am experienced, very friendly and patient tutor and have worked with students of all ages and abilities with excellent results.
I believe in a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic approach to tutoring. Making the subject enjoyable and accessible is central to my approach, and I believe that students have normally enjoyed classes as well as having learned in them. I do set homework and can offer tests and mock exams to demonstrate progress for parents as required. I normally conduct lessons in client homes provided that is acceptable to you. Hours are flexible but I would normally conduct classes at evenings and weekends.
