Callum

I have recently graduated from the University of Sheffield with a Masters degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology. I am also a keen rock climber and outdoor enthusiast. I work part time as a rock climbing coach, a profession I find massively rewarding. I'm hoping to take the skills I have developed for coaching across into tutoring.

Tutoring Experience

I am a qualified rock climbing coach, which has given me invaluable experience in communicating concepts to children of different ages. I teach children aged 5-18. Coaching is something I really enjoy; breaking down complex topic and ideas so that they can be understood by my clients is massively rewarding. My patience and adaptability to make sure each child understands the technique we are learning will translate well into my approach to tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I have a patient approach to teaching; having coached children in sports I understand that different people learn and different paces. My approach is adaptable to the individual as people often respond better to different teaching styles.
