I am a qualified teacher working in a local sixth form college. I have taught History, Sociology and English up to GCSE. I have been teaching for 30 years and live in Sussex.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked in 4 different schools over the past 30 years. I am also a lead examiner for an exam board so I can help students with their exam technique to gain that extra grade. I have successfully tutored students from very different backgrounds for the past 10 years.

Tutoring Approach

I offer 1-2-1 tuition ether in person or via Zoom. I have a very flexible approach and adopt my teaching style to how my students learn best. . All of my private students benefit from that quality 1-2-1 time where they feel safe to ask questions and get more guidance which is not always available in a classroom with 25 other students.My tutoring offers that personalised approach which is not possible in a classroom setting with 20+ other students. I adapt my resources and approach to suit what you need to learn and improve on.
