Brandon

I engaged Brandon to tutor my 17 year old son in Higher Maths to hopefully help him pass his exam.
Brandon had an initial lesson with my son to see if he thought he would be able to help, and then they had one or two lessons a week together right up until my son sat his exam.
They covered the areas my son was struggling with and also went over the areas my son thought he was ok with just to check he was as ok with them as he thought he was!
My son got on extremely well with Brandon and has really thrived with his tuition. The way Brandon teaches and explains everything really clicked with my son and he seemed to be able to understand things much better and easier when Brandon explained them than he did when it was explained to him at school.
Brandon also managed to inspire my son to actually want to be doing maths, and to start enjoying maths rather than hating it (as he had started to do), which is really something!
My son's confidence with maths has vastly improved since learning with Brandon, and his school teachers have also commented on the improvement in both his attitude and ability in class since he started his lessons with Brandon.
My son has now taken his Maths exam, and whether he passes or not remains to be seen, but it was great to have him feeling confident about his ability going into the exam. This reduced some of the stress for him and meant that he came out of the exam knowing that he did the best he could have done, and we have Brandon to thank for that.
Brandon definitely knows his stuff, but more importantly, he figures out the best way to connect with his student and inspires them, which is not always an easy thing to do so I would not hesitate in recommending his as a tutor.
