I am a PhD (Engineering Doctorate) qualified Chemical Engineer working as a Software Developer and Tutor in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, French and Computer Science. I am highly motivated to help students with their work and to help them achieve great results. I am fully bilingual in French as I have lived and studied there for nine years.
I have been a tutor to over 30 students and have over 100 hours of tutoring experience. Many of my students were A-level and GCSE students. I have taught Maths, Science and French. I have helped them achieve excellent grades. I have also motivated and mentored students from a Grammar school in work related to a Chemical Engineering project which is known as the Engineering Education Scheme (EES).
I am methodical and thorough. I can also explain difficult concepts in different ways to help students understand and remember these concepts far better. I believe that after the theory is well understood, practice is key. Therefore, I believe that it is important to work through exercises and past exam questions together with the student.
