Information About Bill - Battersea tutor - (1 review)
This is how 3 referees rated Bill:
I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance and Operations Management and I have completed a PGCE (post-graduate certificate in education). I bring a functional approach to the study of mathematics, having worked as a Finance Director in multinational companies for many years.
Secondary School classes taught: years 7, 8, 9 and 10.
I am also available to assist Year 6 students preparing for entrance exams for secondary school.
Mathematics tutoring includes Years 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 (AS level) and foundation year mathematics for a university student.
I have tutored university students/candidates and adult learners for their GCSE equivalency exams, PGCE numeracy skills test, and basic Mechanics.
Fluent in French and English, I can teach mathematics in either language.
Mathematics should be fun, functional and relevant, exploring the basic principles of mathematics through games, puzzles and, yes, working through some problems. My approach is geared to practical understanding of the basics rather than memorising formulas.
