I am in currently in my gap year studying a part-time A-level and look forward to the adventures and challenges University offers. I believe education is the key to success and wish to pass on my knowledge and experience to any keen learners. Teachers are brilliant at their job but they just do not have the time to explain or answer your queries in great detail. During my A-Levels I wish I had a tutor to guide me because at times it was frustrating and difficult.
I am enthusiastic about the subjects I wish to teach and in my spare time I enjoy a variety of activities, including badmington, football and karate.
I do teach karate on a regular basis to a variety of ages and enjoy seeing them grow both technically and in confidence.
I am an empathetic individual having spent time volunteering in wards at the local hospital. I helped patients and visitors with anything they needed and built a strong relationship with them as well as NHS staff. I am personable, trustworthy and confident and my positions of responsibility include, being an active member in the Sixth Form Head and Young Enterprise team, and working in a family business.
Having just been through G.C.S.E and A-level exams I can relate to many of you out there- it's not easy! I really would tailor the work around you: what you want to learn, how you want to learn, no matter how many times I would have to repeat myself. I am patient and also a good listener which is very important, as I hope to make you understand the work to a high level. Together we would set out clear objectives and make you look forward to the next tutoring session.
Most importantly I would ensure you reach your full potential.
