Hello there! I am an Italian PhD student of Classics at UCL. I have been living in London for four and a half years - I came here to study after my MA in Latin philology at the University of Padua. I am an intelligent and resourceful teacher who is skilled at getting the best from his pupils. I am a responsible, dynamic and trustworthy postgraduate student who thrives in different working environments.
For the past two years, I have been teaching beginners and intermediate Latin as a Post-Graduate teaching Assistant at UCL's Department of Greek and Latin. I have also taught Latin to mature students at a summer school organised by UCL. When I lived in Italy, I taught Latin and Greek to students aged 14-19 in a local high school.
My strategy is always to pay particular attention to each student's individual needs, and prepare lessons in advance in accordance with these needs. I find this to be most successful route. To master any language, especially Greek and Latin, I consider it important to get a full knowledge of grammar and its structures. It is my aim to make any subject as interesting as possible.
