I am a graduate in Marine and Freshwater Biology, trained in Queen Mary, University of London. I completed my Teacher training in Spain. I have also studied with The Open University, which gave me heightened experience of study skills.
My students do well in their exams. This is achieved by making sure that I understand what are the areas they need to work on. Natural Sciences are interrelated and I am always broadening my knowledge, so I can help students to understand better and enjoy their studies of Biology.
I also teach Spanish. I train in the Instituto Cervantes and University of Roehampton. I am a native speaker and have a passion for the inner workings of languages, including a thorough knowledge of pronunciation, grammar and usage, so you can communicate effectively in Spanish.
I have taught GCSE examining boards AQA, Edexcel, OCR and IGCSE Cambridge.
I have worked for several years in London schools and Colleges, teaching general Science to KS3 and KS4, Biology A-Level and Biomedical Sciences to KS5 students.
Identify the areas that need working. Used past papers to learn how to tackle questions. Understand experiments in order to apply the findings to given questions. Make sure that your knowledge of Biology is applied in its different fields, following the approach of the exams. I encourage my students to become as independent as possible. This ensures that learning improves as they acquire more confidence in themselves.
