I am a Primary School Teacher and a Master Neuro linguistic Practitioner. I am married with 3 children, one of High School age and the others attending college and university. I have been studying NLP as a hobby for 20 years and began tutoring children/teenagers/adults in these strategies over 10 years ago and am still as passionate about the subject as I was when I was first introduced to it. Working with children on a daily basis has enabled me to help teach NLP strategies to a wide range of pupils. These techniques work well from P1 and all through life.

I currently have a P4 class this term and have taught all stages from nursery to P7 covering all curricular areas. I have been teaching for 11 years and on a daily basis teach children Neurolinguistic Techniques in order to deal with anger, self esteem, confidence, worries/fears, presenting or simply just helping them to be happy with themselves in and out of school. I have tutored a range of adults and teenagers for exam nerves, phobias, study motivation, sport motivation, school transition fears/school separation anxiety and many issues over the years with great success. I have worked with children using NLP techniques to help with Dyslexia to improve their spelling retention and to teach memory techniques to help with High School exams. I have held workshops to improve self esteem for kids which proved successful and Health & Wellbeing Days where they experienced a range of NLP techniques, Yoga, Qi Gong and Mindfulness. .
I offer a relaxed and fun approach to learning. I believe children should feel at ease and comfortable and only then will they be open to learning new skills. If their minds are full of worry or anxieties they cannot possibly take in any new information. Therefore, once we discover what the concern is we can then approach the techniques and strategies and learn them in a manner which they understand.
These skills are lifelong skills which can then be used on a daily basis throughout school, high school, university and the workplace in order to eradicate any unhelpful behaviour. These skills can help reduce stress, anxiety.
