Ben

Head of Ethics and Philosophy at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School Blackburn.

Tutoring Experience

16 Years experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Philosophy and Ethics / Religious Studies.
I have a Master's Degree in Philosophy from Lancaster University. Examination marker for AQA GCSE Religious Studies (new/reformed specification).

Tutoring Approach

I like to cater for the preferences of the student. I understand that some students prefer to have a dialogue that helps them discover concepts in their own way, whilst others prefer a more prescriptive approach where they are told what is the right answer in a clear and concise way. I also am a firm believer in tutoring according to what examination boards require in terms of content and style/structure.
