Information About Ben - Saundersfoot tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Ben:
I am a qualified teacher from Tenby. I have a passion for teaching people who want to learn. I enjoy working with computers and in my spare time I like to play golf, surf and go fishing.
I graduated from Bangor University with a PGCE in Primary Education. While working towards this qualification I was taught how to teach students using Welsh curriculum documentation. During the qualification I was given resources and strategies to teach students and ensure they progressed, I have since added my own resources to this collection. Upon completion of the qualification I have worked as a supply teacher for New Directions Education and I also cover a class in a school every Monday afternoon. I have also worked as a LSA in school full time.
I like working one to one with students as it allows me to get to know the student and also how the student learns best. In the first session I go through common questions in all subject areas to gain an understanding of the students ability. I then go through the questions with the student and find areas for improvement. The quickest way to see results is to work on areas that require improvement. When I know the students areas for improvement I plan a strategy and method to teach the student how to understand concepts that they previously didn't. I ensure work is set for the students to work through by the next session. I am approachable and can be contacted at any time to help with queries you may have. I have many resources and like to make learning fun and tailored to each student.
