¡Hola! My name is Beatriz and I am the Founder at Removed. We help students become fluent and connect them with each other so that they can have the confidence to build the connections they want and create new opportunities around the world.

I'm an enthusiastic and experienced bilingual teacher and a qualified advanced coach born in Cádiz, in sunny Andalucía in Spain, certified in teaching Spanish (DELE) and English as Foreign Languages (TEFL Level 5).

I studied Languages and Tourism in Spain and Translation at the University of Westminster in London, UK where I've been living for over 20 years. I am also a certified life and business coach (ACSTH) by the ICF, specialised in student engagement, leadership and personal development. I also have a C2 Proficiency Level in English by the University of Cambridge.

I also have a Bachelor Degree in Latin, Greek, Art History and Literature, and I teach Spanish and English to adults, professionals, and young students of basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

Expert in creating productive lessons and fun learning environments, with experience in exams and test preparation such as GCSE Spanish, Cambridge B1, B2, C1, C2 and IELTS.

Tutoring Experience

I am based in Haywards Heath, (RH16) and I have been working as a freelance Spanish and English teacher in the UK for over 10 years, teaching young students, adults, professionals, and small groups, online and on-site, as well as management teams in small organisations. I also teach Spanish to students who travel to Spain frequently or are thinking of moving to the country and would like to learn about the social and cultural aspects of the country, and I collaborate in translation and interpretation projects with international companies that have Spanish speaking clients.

Tutoring Approach

My methodology includes all the skills students need to feel confident when communicating in another language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I also teach grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, and my lessons are entirely customised to my students' needs.

• I deliver personalised lessons in my house, online or at the student's home (subject to availability).
• I supply all the material for the lessons (beginners level, online and on site).
• I offer a flexible 72hr cancellation policy.
• Specialised and tailored lessons may be charged at a higher price which will depend on the student's requests (i.e. Job interview preparation, reading techniques, theses and dissertations preparation, Business Spanish and English, CV writing, etc.)
• If you require Life or Business Coaching sessions, rates start at £60 per person/hour.

COMMUTING AND PARKING

• I use public transport and I'm happy to commute to the student's house for free in KT4 (subject to availability).
• Students who take lessons in my house are welcome to use free parking space on a complimentary basis. I also offer free cups of tea!
