This is how 2 referees rated Azaz:
I have recently completed my Bachelor's degree and will graduate in July 2015 with a First Class Honours. I began tutoring in early 2015 for a few students in my local community. The main reason I began tutoring was so that I could pass on the knowledge and skills I have developed over several years. I understand that it can be tough for students to perform at the highest level when there are drawbacks on the way, such as incompetent teachers. I say this as I have experienced such things myself in my early days, and would not want students to underperform when their potential is on a different level.
I believe my experience of volunteering since I was a young teenager has made me into more of a giving individual who has a passion in helping others. I am patient and understanding with each student and expect myself to tailor my teaching skills to each students needs so that they achieve their maximum potential.
I am currently a full time freelance tutor and will go part time in September, when I will be also taking on university students.
I currently teach a few students in my area who are highly impressed and will be tutored by me in the future.
I have a different approach to tutoring then many others. Whilst preparing for exams at university, I learnt that teaching my fellow students helps me revise my knowledge and allows me to master a topic. My approach with younger students is to teach them on THEIR level, I wish them to see me as someone who can make teaching fun and enjoyable whilst learning a great deal.
