Information About Audrey - Exeter tutor - (4 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Audrey:
I am a teacher with 20 years of experience over 3 key stages. I have taught children who have needed special help and I have also taught children who are gifted and talented. I especially enjoy teaching one to one, supporting each child to become an independent learner and reach their full potential.
With over 20 years of teaching behind me, I have taught in both mainstream and special schools. I trained in London and taught in Bexley for many years until I moved to Devon about 6 years ago. I have taught children with special needs and have patience and understanding for children need extra help. I have also taught gifted and talented children and have encouraged them to fulfil their potential. I am a published children's author and this encourages all my pupils to reach for the 'impossible.'
I am able to travel to pupils homes for their lessons but am equally happy for them to be taught in my own home. I endeavour to make all my lessons enjoyable and adapted to my pupils preferred learning style. I particularly enjoy a 'hands on approach' for my pupils as active learners need to work it out for themselves. I have also a good understanding of dyslexia and have been able to support a number of children who are struggling in the classroom.
