Personal Description:

I have had outstanding academic achievements in my academic career. I was ranked in top 0.6 percentile amongst nearly 150,000 students in the highly competitive examination for admission to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), the premier engineering institute in India. After my undergraduate program, after working for few years in the corporate sector, I applied for the Civil Services in India and was ranked in top 0.01 percentile amongst nearly 300,000 applicants. One of the two subjects in this examination was Mathematics. The two examinations are considered to be the most competitive in India. Besides these, I have done exceptionally well in Mathematics in my K-12 education.I am also the topper of my school in secondary school examination. I got 2nd position in quiz conducted by Chemical Engineering department of IIT- Kharagpur. I got 165 in Quant section of GRE and 49 in Quant section of GMAT.
I am a very hard working person. I have good communication skill. and I also have good analytical skill. Above all I am a good human being who really care for his fellow human being.
Currently, I am pursuing Masters of Public Administration program at London School of Economics.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught Mathematics to students in class 10th, 11th, and 12th for their regular coursework and to students in class 11th and 12th for entrance examination for IIT. I have also taught students ‘Quantitative’ and ‘Verbal’ sections for GRE and GMAT.

Tutoring Approach:

My main focus in teaching is stress on fundamental. I believe that if a student understands the fundamental concepts other things will automatically fall in place. I first give the theoretical background and then illustrate it with examples. Then following it up with lots of practice. Especially in mathematics, I believe one can become expert only through practice. Therefore key to success is a sound theoretical background with lots of practice as the saying goes practice makes a man perfect. Also I let the student do the things himself. I just guide them so that he or she feels confident.
