8 years of studying Japanese language and culture and 2 years of teaching experience. Arriana used to teach students at the University of Worcester every Tuesday evening at the Japanese Language Café, which was a free, fun, relaxed and casual coffee shop style Japanese class for all levels of study. This is currently not available, but there are plans to open the class again to public for a small fee in 2017. She now teaches on Skype to individual students of a variety of ages.
Over the last two years, she has also privately tutored a number of University students in Japanese language and culture, who have successfully progressed to passing Japanese Language Proficiency exams, travelling to Japan and conversing in Japanese with Japanese friends.
Arriana combines her own creative approaches and tried and tested methods to teach Japanese in an immersive, hands-on way. Students really enjoy her enthusiastic approach and colorful, exciting lessons. To deliver the most effective and fun Japanese language lessons and classes, Arriana creates her own resources and combines these with highly credited text book and online materials, tailored individually to suit each class or student.
Arriana will work one-on-one with students in order to help them reach their goals: whether it be to pass an exam, travel to Japan, conduct better business with Japanese companies, make Japanese friends or understand anime without subtitles - all the way to helping those who would like to become fluent in Japanese or move to Japan.
