French man from Paris, living in Frinton-on-Sea.. My wife to be is an Art Teacher at the Clacton Coastal Academy.
I am a SAN Expert and used to teach english to my french colleagues.
Also studying a Master in Digital Forensics and IT Security with the Open University.
NetApp ASE2/ASE3 Certified Teacher in both french and english.
Certified Teacher in Dell EMC technologies.
My approach to tutoring is quite simple ; I always make sure that the student realizes that what she/he thought was complicated is actually quite simple.
If it comes to french language, reading a page of a book, circling the words that are similar in english is enough to slowly have a rough idea of the subject,
Then we can proceed, step by step to examine the grammar itself.
The most important point is to re insure the student by demonstrating how easy it can be, even if he/she is reluctant of learning the language.
One excellent exercise is to read their favorite book in french and see the difference with the original version.
I also quite like playing silly french commercial videos on Youtube for the understanding of pronunciation .
Depending on the level, we can organize a plan -which could include skype sessions-
