Hello, I am a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from The University of Bristol with a passion for teaching and mentoring. I have 4 A-levels with 3 A*s and 1 A in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Further Maths. Over the past four years, I have dedicated myself to tutoring students across various levels, from Key Stage 3 to A-level.

Drawing on a strong foundation in core STEM subjects, which I apply daily as a Mechanical Engineer, and backed by a track record of successful tutoring, I am committed in assisting students in achieving their academic objectives and excelling in their studies.

Tutoring Experience

• 2 years of online tutoring experience at "Tutor Rise" in 11 Plus topics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Maths GCSE and A-level.
• 2 years of in-person and online private tuition on GCSE Maths and Science
• Teaching experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects at "British Summer School"

Tutoring Approach

My unique approach involves employing first principles teaching, coupled with highly interactive and visual sessions, which has proven to be instrumental in helping my tutees excel and master their subjects. Drawing inspiration from my own experience, I've always found myself most engaged in subjects I truly enjoyed. This realisation fuelled my mission to create an exciting learning experience for my students.

I believe that interactivity is key to achieving this mission, which is why my lessons consistently incorporate dynamic elements such as drawing and annotating. These techniques allow for a deeper understanding by visualising abstract concepts. Additionally, I integrate mark scheme-oriented quizzes into my sessions, sparking a true sense of progress and understanding. This approach serves as a powerful motivator for students and introduces them to new and effective study strategies.
