This is how 2 referees rated Antony:
My name is Antony. I am a hard working, reliable and friendly maths teacher. I offer a service that will be professional and valuable to tutees wishing to improve their understanding and skills with mathematics. I also enjoy other math based subjects, such as physics.
I am an award winning, published writer and am currently working on a novel. I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction. I also enjoy drama; helping out with a local amateur dramatics group; and have shot several short films.
Update: May 18; I have just directed my first play, which was well received at Bayston Hill Memorial Hall, Shrewsbury.
I have been teaching Mathematics in a secondary school for the past fifteen years. I have a wealth of teaching experience at key stage 3 and 4. I have patient teaching style, encouraging my pupils to accept wrong answers as an important part of the learning experience. I think that it is crucial for pupils to develop their problem solving skills through the application of key skills.
As A tutor I am patient and understanding. I have always worked with the premise that mathematics should not be feared; and any difficulty can be overcome with support and a determination from teacher and learner. Tutoring should be driven, to a large extent, by the learner. I will endeavour to provide excellent choices of skills exercises and problem solving, geared to the individual's needs.
