Antony's Feedback

My daughter has had Antony for about 6 sessions now (maybe more?!) He’s extremely reliable and my daughter who doesn’t comment positively on much said that he is so knowledgeable and clever, they chat lots about the subject they are studying too. This helps her to understand what she has to write when she puts pen to paper. I honestly believe Antony will give my daughter the push she needs to achieve her grades in GCSE English lit and lang.

Antony is a quiet , dedicated and competent tutor with whom my daughter felt very comfortable. He assessed her learning style and level, shared very useful material and his lessons were relevant to the topics she covered in school. This approach helped my daughter be in Top Set English with a prediction of grade 9. I would without hesitation recommend Antony to any parent who wants a tutor that would take time to fully assess your child's tutorial needs whilst encouraging and motivating them to do their utmost best in English.

Our son had his first lesson with Mr today. He was so positive about him and told us he liked the way he explained things in ways he could understand. An excellent first impression.

An excellent tutor! Anthony begins by ascertaining the level of ability of his student(s) and builds upon this. He provides fun and interesting lessons for the girls and they thoroughly enjoy their time with him. He works on all aspects of English including comprehension, spelling, creative writing and more. We have attended a few classes with Antony, although his classes were helpful, I had requested for written feedback a few times on papers and solved questions being marked. I did not receive any even upon request.

Excellent tutor with many years of teaching experience. He helped my son understand the mark scheme and improve exam skills for A-Level English Literature. My son achieved a B grade though he was predicted a D grade in February mock exams so I believe Mr had a lot to do with this. Moreover Mr is as reliable and punctual as it is humanly possible. We never had a disappointment throughout the time he tutored my son.Thank you!

My daughter has really enjoyed the sessions with Anthony and finds his approach to teaching has helped her grasp some of the more tricky areas of A level English.

Antony provided an excellent first tutorial for our son. He inspired enthusiasm and struck up a good, motivational rapport with him. We found Antony to be friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and organised - all of the qualities one would look for in a teacher.

Antony is helping my son with his English Literature A level coursework. Very impressed with his approach, target setting and support, really pleased to have found him.

Comes in prepared with lots of tasks
Goes through them thoroughly
But needs to give more suggestion on the student's written peice of work.
Also would suggest to focus on what is going on in the school

Mr is a very professional, patient scholar and believing nothing is impossible. He is performing and providing his academic knowledge to the younger generation.

This is an update on previous feedback. I am happy to award Anthony 5 stars, My son achieved the necessary GCSE English grades for sixth form and enjoyed the tutoring he received. No hesitation in recommending Anthony to others.

Antony is an outstanding tutor for A-Level English Literature. He has given me confidence and helped me understand some difficult texts which I have been struggling with.

My son found Antony to be a most reliable and effective tutor. He only had a few sessions prior to his AS English exam but found them immensely helpful and he certainly increased his knowledge and improved his essay technique. Anthony is tutoring my daughter for 2 hours a week in A level RS philosophy and ethics. He is very polite and punctual, communication is very easy. He is tailoring the lessons to target the specific needs and learning style of my daughter and has clearly assessed her strengths and weaknesses. He encourages her to explore the topic for herself but also provides her with notes that she has found really useful. We are extremely happy with how things are working out.

Antony was brilliant with my daughter Rosie. He really boasted her confidence with her A level and she felt more confident and relaxed by the time the exams came. He helped her realise that she could re-call alot more information than she thought she knew. A great tutor thank you. Just waiting (with fingers crossed) for the results!

Very good tutorial session. I feel much more confident. Many thanks too for emailing the poetry revision prep, it was very much appreciated.

Antony has been tutoring our son for the past month with his Year 10 English studies and so far, so good! It's early days at the moment because we haven't had any feedback or school reports, but our son certainly appreciates the one-to-one attention.

Progress by my son Henry has been helped enormously by Antony's tuition, and Henry is both enjoying it and learning a great deal. So far, all very good and a great help. I have every confidence that Henry will continue to flourish in the months ahead.

This quite an early request but Georgina does appreciate the support being given by Antony and I feel sure this will give her confidence in tackling the resit in January and the year's A2 work.

I've passed my A Level English Literature exam thanks to Mr.. He has helped me a lot by giving me additional classes and books to help me. He was always there to help me; a really great teacher, punctual and kind. I'm ever so grateful to have had him as my teacher. I wish him all the best for his future :)
