I am a 60 year old professional who has come to teaching after a long and successful career in business and industry. Consequently, I have great experience of dealing with people on a one-to-one basis, understanding their needs and aspirations and formulating solutions in order to deliver desired outcomes. I live in Brighton , conveniently near to Preston Park train station and bus stops into and from Brighton centre.

Tutoring Experience

I am fully committed to making learning an enjoyable, instructive and successful experience for both learners and myself. If any student is not 100% satisfied with my approach and teaching style, then fees will be refunded at that point.

Tutoring Approach

Our first hour-long meeting will be to decide whether we will be able to work well together, and if I will be capable of delivering a learning experience for you which will be suitable, enjoyable and ultimately beneficial. I will encourage you to participate fully in the oral aspects of the lesson, not simply sit there and expect power-point presentation, whilst assessing your level and ability and deciding with you how best to develop your English speaking skills. In this one-to-one learning environment, we should expect to see rapid progression towards an ability to converse and communicate in English at a practical level of fluency. You should expect me to set homework which will focus on writing. Face to face tuition only.
