Information About Annie - Chesham tutor - (5 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Annie:
I am an experienced private tutor, specialising in English Language and Literature. I'm currently available for 1:1 tuition, as well as online coursework and essay support.
I offer tutoring sessions in two hour blocks at the hourly rate listed on my profile. Discretionary proofreading and editing services outside of tutoring hours are priced separately.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
I've previously taught across a range of subject areas within the arts, including English, critical theory and essay/coursework techniques.
My students have ranged from Primary School age to Postgraduate degree (MA + PhD) level, and I've worked with them to navigate a variety of exam board, college and university requirements.
I currently focus on AS, A Level and university clients; students who have chosen to study English at a higher level, but may be in need of an extra push to realise their potential.
Both college and university students will receive structural support for essays, dissertations and theses, as well as proofreading and editing services as agreed.
I am flexible, creative and highly organised, offering tailored feedback on exam technique and written papers with clear and actionable commentary.
I'm a strong believer that my students get out what they put in. We'll work together to develop the right academic attitude, align on goals and use English as a gateway to independent, empowered study.

Unfortunately due to limited time, we received the edits for the draft quite late.
Otherwise Annie gave me very useful comments on how to improve and boosted the overall quality of my work.
