Information About Anne - Northwich tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Anne:
I am an experienced teacher, I recently moved from London to Cheshire I am currently a registered foster carer and I am also working as a supply teacher. As a parent and foster carer, I know how important additional support outside of school can be. I am friendly, relaxed and will encourage your child to develop their confidence and love of learning.
I have 25 years’ experience as teacher. I have tutored children in English and mathematics and worked with a child who needed support to develop their fine and gross motor skills. As a class teacher I specialised in early years development; key stage one teaching; and phonics development. I have led phonics across whole schools and worked as part of English development teams. When teaching Mathematics I ensure children have appropriate practical resources to help develop their understanding.
I have experienced working with pupils with special needs including language delay; ADHD; and autistic spectrum disorder dyspraxia and dyslexia.
I am a creative teacher who truly believes learning can be fun. I am able to be flexible with regard to the length of lessons as I am aware children may only be able to sustain concentration over a long lesson. I am patient and understanding and would work with a child to help them unpick their misconceptions. I would support children to build the resilience they need when working independently at school. I would provide the parents and child with follow up activities if this was required and keep the parents informed of their child’s progress.
