I am 28 years old and have being teaching Mathematics in secondary schools for over 4 years. In addition to this, I have run professional development programs for teachers in primary schools and have an excellent understanding of both the primary and secondary curriculum. I studied Mathematics and Philosophy at Bristol University and Maths, Philosophy and Economics at A-level. I am a patient person with a keen interest in helping people understand and enjoy these subjects. In addition to teaching in main stream schools, I also have experience working with children and young adults with Autism and special educational needs.
I have been teaching in secondary schools for over four years including a role as a KS3 Mathematics Co-ordinator. I have tutored Maths, Philosophy and Economics for over 6 years and have over 10 years experience teaching the piano. I have extensive knowledge of the curriculum and what skill level is required for SATs, GCSEs and A-level exams.
I understand that people have unique learning styles, and always aim to cater to the learners needs. I have a wealth of resources and aim to keep learning fun and diverse, as I believe this is key to making good progress. I prefer to tutor online or from my home, with good resources to hand but can travel if these options are unsuitable.
