Information About Anna - Bristol tutor - (2 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Anna:
I am a very experienced and enthusiastic teacher of English and have been teaching KS3 and GCSE English in Bristol Secondary Schools for over 13 years. I have a wealth of experience in teaching students from a range of abilities - from those aiming to gain a GCSE grade C to those wanting to reach an A*. I am passionate about my subject and believe I am able to pass on my love of English to my students (even if they are reluctant!) I am currently taking a career break to look after my young daughter and am enjoying working as a one-to-one tutor.
I am an outstanding teacher and have an excellent track record of success at both KS3 and A-Level. As a qualified WJEC GCSE English Literature examiner I have very up-to-date knowledge of exam board requirements. I have also been employed specifically as a GCSE English intervention tutor with responsibility for raising student grades.Throughout my teaching career I have held positions of responsibility such as Literacy catch-up co-ordinator and Subject Leader of Media Studies. I am currently working as a one-to-one tutor for KS3 and GCSE English.
I consider myself a warm and friendly individual who really focuses on establishing good relationships with the students that I teach. My experience as a teacher means I am able to quickly identify what a student needs to do to raise their grades and am consequently able to plan work carefully to meet both the needs and interests of my tutees. I welcome feedback from both parents and tutees and am confident that students will quickly see an improvement in both grades and confidence.
