This is how 2 referees rated Anita:
I am a qualified Maths teacher , retired from school now in order to concentrate on my tutoring. I’m a passionate, caring and enthusiastic teacher possessing the key ability to translate the discipline of mathematics in a straightforward, relevant and accessible way. My greatest joy is supporting students academically and watching them flourish into capable, independent mathematicians.
I have been teaching for nearly 15 years and have taught Maths in both mainstream comprehensive schools and in a school for children with a range of special needs. I have taught across the age and ability range. I have also tutored students from independent and grammar schools. Teaching at different levels brings an exciting range of challenges and rewards.
I believe that all children learn in different ways and I adapt my teaching to suit their individual needs. My lessons are personalised and relevant to the individual needs. I work at a pace that suits each student and let them guide the learning as I fill in gaps in their education. I try to make learning fun by using a range of techniques depending on the student’s age and ability. I am patient and don’t mind thinking of several ways to explain the same thing if there is a particular topic that a student is really struggling.

I highly recommend Anita as a Maths Tutor.
My daughter always feels more positive about Maths and her capabilities on the lessons after a session with Anita. I would recommend her.
She is always willing to accommodate your requests to change a session too which is great for working parents.
I would highly recommend her.
I can definitely r commend her.
After just a couple of sessions Jess has settled and is growing in confidence.
Reliable, easily contactable/good communications re : lesson content, but most importantly she relates very well to my daughter who so far is thankfully enthusiastic to improve her maths skills. Already showed improvement at school after her fist sessions so lets hope this continues.
She sets homework for him to complete between lessons which she then goes through with him.
