I am currently a full time Teacher of A-level Chemistry at a leading sixth form college in Hampshire with over 10 years teaching experience and 17 years experience in drug discovery and industrial chemistry.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught KS3 maths, science and GCSE chemistry, biology and chemistry at several state secondary schools. I have taught OCR Salters B and am currently teaching OCR A chemistry specifications. My lessons have been rated as outstanding and I have consistently gained outstanding results for my classes when compared to national value added marks.

I have tutored many A-level chemistry students for many years and also have tutored prospective independent students for their scholarship science exams for Winchester and Eton.

Tutoring Approach

I currently offer face to face or one to one online tutoring through Skype, Googlemeet or Zoom using a drawing tablet for bespoke modelling diagrams. Face to face tutoring takes place at my house in a study where I have all the teaching resources needed. I am able to offer detailed exemplar model answers and commentary on exam questions linking the synoptic content of A-level chemistry. Please contact me to discuss potential arrangements.
