I am a biology teacher offering tutoring at all levels (National 5, Higher, Advanced Higher)

I live in Glasgow but work in West Lothian Council meaning that I travel along the M8 each day which widens the areas where I would be available to tutor.

I obtained a first class honours degree in Applied Bioscience and Zoology (2012) and PGDE Secondary education (biology and science)(2013) from UWS.

I have been a teacher for five years and have taught and tutored national 5 Biology, Higher Biology and Advanced Higher Biology (please note Advanced Higher tutoring is offered at £40 per hour).

I have a car so would be willing to travel some distance for tutoring.

I am currently available weekday evenings and weekends.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive teaching experience at National 4, National 5, Higher Biology and Advanced Higher Biology levels.

I am a qualified biology teacher and have 6 years experience of teaching Biology at all levels.

Tutoring Approach

tutoring should always be student led and this is the philosophy I employ.

I am very flexible but have found that going over an area of the course, explaining the difficult areas and combining this with examination style questions is very effective. The objective is to build confidence and skills with a view to improving examination performance
