I have spent 30 years working as a teacher. No longer working full time in schools, I now have time to dedicate to supporting children one to one in their learning.
I have worked as a teacher, deputy head and headteacher over the last 30 years and have experience of teaching children from year one to year six. Throughout my career I have always maintained face to face teaching experience, in particular supporting children in year six. I currently tutor children in their own homes.
Lessons will be tailored to individual children's needs, focusing on developing confidence, core skills and key curriculum areas. Practical learning will be included where appropriate, and I always aim for the lessons to be fun and for children to feel proud of what they have achieved at the end of the session.
