I am a Primary School teacher, currently teaching in year 6 at an Outstanding school. Prior to this, I studied Psychology at the University of Sheffield, obtaining a BSc (Hons). I am passionate about teaching and have been involved in tutoring since I was 16 years old.
I specialise in teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and my teaching has been graded 'Outstanding', both as a whole, and across all eight individual Teachers' Standards by the Institute of Education at UCL. Moreover, I am experienced in preparing children for their end of Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs).
I also have a great deal of experience as an Applied Behavioural Analysis tutor, and have worked with a number of SEN (Special Educational Needs) pupils, in particular pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and moderate / severe learning difficulties. In this regard in particular I am able to bring the knowledge gained from my Psychology degree into my tutoring.

My approach to tutoring changes with every child. I tailor all lesson plans and resources to the unique needs of the tutee, be it pushing those who are already thriving even further, to helping to lift those who are currently struggling. I am particularly passionate about removing the learning barriers a number of children face, be it a lack of confidence, English as an Additional Language or Special Educational Needs / disabilities.
