Hi, I'm Alice.
I am really keen to help those who are looking for some extra support in their Psychology studies, no matter what their current level may be.
After graduating from Newcastle University in 2015 with a First Class Honours in Psychology, I worked for the NHS for two years in two different Assistant Psychologist posts. I then got accepted on the Clinical Doctorate course, where I am half way through my first year of training to becoming a qualified Clinical Psychologist. I work full-time during the week, so would be available on evenings and weekends.
In addition to tutoring I can offer any help or advice in regards to different careers in Psychology.
I have designed and delivered tutorials to first year Undergraduate Psychology students whilst in my final year of study. Throughout my work I have been involved in teaching and training of staff using psychological approaches. Teaching is also something I regularly take part in as part of the Clinical Doctorate training, a core competency of the course.
I have an up to date enhanced DBS clearance.
In my work I am very used to adapting styles and approaches to learning, to meet the level and needs of the individual. Whatever your style of learning or academic ability, our tutor sessions will be tailored to bring out the best in you. In our first session we will look at what your goals might be and make a plan around achieving those goals.
