I believe passionately in the transformative power of education. Over many years I have developed extensive experience working as a tutor and I support my students according to both their needs and their aspirations. I enjoy working with students of all ages to help build their confidence, improve their study skills, and equip them with effective revision techniques.

Tutoring Experience

I work with students aged 7-18 and take great pride in creating fun, innovative, and stimulating lessons. I specialise in History and also tutor a variety of other subjects including English, Maths, French, and Religious Studies. I am experienced in helping students prepare for a range of entrance exams as well as GCSEs and A-Levels.
Always willing to put in the extra work to support my students, I am hard-working, patient, and persevering.

Tutoring Approach

I love working with young people. No two students are the same and I am experienced in adapting my teaching methods for different ages, abilities, and learning styles. I am skilled in bringing out the best in my students and aim to instil a love of learning that will endure beyond a tutoring session. I also encourage my students to take ownership of their learning; it is an immensely rewarding feeling to see them fired up about pursuing their interests independently of our lessons.
