I am a committed teacher of Management Sciences (Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, etc), and Maths (GCSE) with over 8 years of diverse experience in higher and secondary education. My teaching experience covers practices in UK and abroad with students from various social, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. I have excellent administrative, computing, verbal and written communication skills along with constructive and effective teaching methods that promote stimulating and inspiring learning environment for students to get engaged.
I am a qualified management accountant (CIMA). I have also done a MSc in Finance from UK. Currently I am working as Management Accountant in NHS. Before that I worked with a college in London for six years teaching various management sciences subjects from GCSE to University Level.
I have over 8 years teaching experience at various levels from secondary level to higher education. I have mostly taught Maths & Economics to secondary and GCSE students and Accounting & Business Studies to A-level students.
Over the years in teaching, I have acquired the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning by utilising whatever resources are available to improve the standards and learning of all students. My teaching relationship involves the development of critical skills, not just to solve particular problems, but also to think about the larger world in an informed and practical manner. As a teaching philosophy, where class sizes are small, I aspire to incorporate extensive use of a dialogic approach to teaching, which involves extensive questioning of students and attempts to test and expand their critical thinking abilities.
