I am a Native Spanish Teacher. I have also the QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
During last 5 years I've been teaching Spanish as a second language as a Spanish tutor in UK, in an Artist Residency and by Skype. Currently, I'm an Assistant Spanish teacher at City of London School, one of the most prestigious schools in London.
I've worked as a journalist for almost two decades, so I have a really excellent command of the language, and of course, a high standard in communicative skills.
I believe that a language should be learnt focusing mainly in the effective use of the proper language. That's why I always try to focus my lessons on conversation skills.
Spanish Assistant Teacher at City of London School
Spanish Tutor at London
Teacher at University (UCAM, Murcia) from 2003 to 2006
Internship as Spanish Teacher at Cervantes Institute in Dublin
Spanish Lessons at Artist Residency La Postiza in Murcia
As I said before I do believe in the communicative methodology in language teaching. So, my lessons focus on the effective use of language. Dynamic, funny and useful lessons in which you will have to talk a lot in Spanish. Correction is one of my concerns, not only in pronunciation but in the way you express your ideas.
Learning without noticing you are learning is one the purpose of my lessons.
Besides that, I'm working now with GSCE & Sixth Form students.
