I am a fully qualified and working Primary School Teacher, I love my job and helping children to learn and achieve their goals. I work part-time in school and tutor as well as I have a young family of my own. When it comes to tutoring this is a massive advantage as I know the primary curriculum inside-out! I strongly believe that tutoring is so helpful in improving children's attainment and confidence which is why I enjoy doing it.
I have been teaching since 2010. I have worked teaching and tutoring classes and pupils across all ages in primary school right from Early Years (ages 3-5) up to Year 6 (age 11). I also have several years of tutoring experience in small groups or 1:1 settings.
My approach to tutoring is to find out your child's needs and goals through consultation with parent and child. We then agree an action plan to help your child reach their goal whether it be improving confidence, increasing their SATs score, passing the 11+ or entrance exams or improving their reading skills. I have had years of proven success in raising attainment and progress for children within the primary school setting.
Whether your child needs help with a specific issue for a short amount of time (troubleshooting) or general ongoing tutoring to increase confidence and engagement in school, I can help, contact me for a chat. No problem is too big or too small. I can tutor any subject on the Primary Curriculum.
