Information About Alex - Didcot tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Alex:
I completed my BSc (hons) in Biotechnology from Oxford Brookes University in 2012.
Having an A-Level in maths was a requirement for the degree.
Since leaving university I have worked as a research scientist in Oxford and now currently work in the medical sales industry. Both roles involve the use of maths on a daily basis.
Growing up I always felt maths was an important subject and I can still remember all the exams and stress around them.
I would like to give something back and help students reach their goals and get the grades they want.
I am new to tutoring, however training; presenting and one to one demonstrating and exhibiting plays a large part of my daily job role. Again a fair amount of my work involves maths.
Communication is something I feel is a personal strength, and I look forward to helping students with tutoring.
My one to one teaching strategy is tailored to each individual student.
The aim will be to work through the syllabus and build confidence with each student, getting them comfortable with all the various types of questions. I believe exam practice is extremely important and rapidly helps to improve grades.
The format I suggest is as follows. I travel to you, and do one to one tutoring in your home, 1-2 hours once per week.
