Currently working as Subject Leader of Computing at School in Durham. Friendly and humorous style of teaching that has provided students with excellent results within a various range of courses from GCSE Computer Science at OCR, AQA and also IGCSE to A-Level Computer Science at OCR.

Qualified exam marker and moderator for Level 2 Creative Imedia in ICT along with Level 3 Cambridge Technicals in IT.

Father of 2 boys (14 and 11), enjoy all aspects of sport especially Cricket, Football and Golf.

Tutoring Experience

14 years teaching now in 3 different schools, mainly school in Durham where I worked for 9 years. Pastoral tutor for a group of year 7 students and teach KS3, KS4 and KS5 Computing and ICT.

Have taught numerous courses in my time and now focused on OCR Computer Science at GCSE and A Level, OCR Creative Imedia and also KS3 computing.

I am qualified to mark Computer Science at both KS4 and KS5 for OCR and have experience of marking Creative Imedia at KS4 along with also moderating the coursework.

At my current school I have also mentored the trainee teachers who come into the Computing department.
