I am a Spanish native speaker and fully qualified teacher with many years of experience teaching Spanish and French up to A level. I hold a Masters Degree in Teaching and a Degree in Journalism.
I am passionate about language learning and I believe in helping students to reach their full potential by boosting their confidence.
I worked as a Spanish and French teacher in a good secondary school in Leigh-on-sea, Essex, from 2012 to 2017, when I relocated to Spain. I have a broad knowledge of the curriculum and experience of preparing students for public examinations.
As part of my role as a secondary teacher, I was involved in a project to establish links with a local primary school in order to prepare their pupils for the demands of secondary language learning. I taught Spanish to Y6 students for a whole term. It was a very rewarding experience which gave me a good insight into teaching languages at Primary level.
I also taught Spanish to adults of different levels when I was living in England.
I am an enthusiastic and conscientious teacher who will adapt to your needs, whether they are to prepare for an exam or a more conversational approach to language learning.
I have a lot of resources and I believe my teaching approach is flexible to suit the student's interests and style of learning.
