Tutoring Approach
- Identify pupils' gaps in knowledge through assessment.
- Ensure prior knowledge required to access new information is there.
- Give the responsibility to the learner to make links between previous knowledge and new learning in order to have a deep understanding of the concepts.
- Assess pupils' understanding through questioning that requires a reasoned answer.
- Challenge pupils with problem solving tasks in order to extend them.
