I am currently a student at the University of Cambridge, studying medicine. I am a hard-working and earnest individual, and will ensure that if you place your faith in me I will extract the best possible results from my tutees. Having a younger sister means that I know how to communicate in such a way that complex problems can be simplified, and having helped numerous students through their medical school application and interview processes mean that I know how to communicate across a wide range of age groups. Am willing to help a wide variety of age groups, with A level students, particularly those interested in Medicine, I can offer help on personal statements/interview preparation/entrance exam preparation.

Having been through the system myself, I understand the importance of good teachers in establishing a basic understanding of the subject from which answers can be formulated, rather than simply rote learning answers. As a tutor therefore, I ensure that students achieve that basic understanding using relatable examples. To substantiate this, I make sure to set a suitable number of questions until I am sure that the students understand. Particularly for external exams, I realized quickly the importance of exam technique rather than absolute knowledge for success. Therefore, from an early stage I place an emphasis on exam practice and rigorous study of the mark schemes, so that my students not only understand the content but know how to express this understanding in the way examiners want. I also place important emphasis on exam practice in medical school entrance exams, so that students know exactly what to look for and how to answer the questions properly.
