Aisling

My name is Aisling Gallagher . I am a qualified primary teacher from the University of Glasgow and am currently doing a masters in education at the same institution. I am a positive person who loves to teach . I have a passion for teaching and learning and get a great sense of achievement from seeing pupils develop and grow as individuals . If I can have a positive impact on a child’s future and self confidence then I feel I am doing my job well . Over my four year degree , I have learned many different strategies and approaches to help every child flourish and I am completing a masters degree so that I can further develop my knowledge and understanding of how children learn.

Tutoring Experience

I am fully qualified as a primary teacher and during my time gaining my degree I have undergone many teaching placements in many different schools . Having this experience in different schools and with different ages has given me the experience I feel is needed to be able to help a wide range of children of all different ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is highly focused on engagement. Personally con my experience I have found that teaching is not a ‘one approach fits all’ so therefore based on the individual I will adapt my approach to cater to each child’s specific needs . I try to make my material as engaging and fun as possible as I truly believe that if a child can learn to enjoy what they are doing that this can really impact their attitudes towards learning , leading to a better overall learning experience. I would definitely say that my teaching approach is inclusive as I am able to effectively cater to a wide range of learning styles , needs and requirements.
