I graduated from the University of Nottingham, which is a well known reputable top 10 UK university which is a Redbrick and Russell group university. I studied a degree in Mathematics with Statistics achieving a 2.1 and I am currently studying a masters in Statistics at University College London, which is a world reputable university. I have all around knowledge on A-level, GCSE, Key-Stage 3 and below mathematics.
I am a mathematics tutor in the area of Kingsbury, London, I tutor A-level, GCSE and Key -Stage 3 mathematics and have over 1 years experience. I am friendly, polite and can help your child achieve the highest attainable grade, help them become more confident with the subject and help them develop a passion for mathematics. I also tutor during the summer as I feel it is beneficial to keep students sharp and engage actively in mathematics and learning in general as the 6 week summer break can cause the summer slide and learning during the holidays is best to keep up to date and on track.
My approach to teaching is smooth and with precision, I help students realise their true potential in mathematics and help them actually enjoy and develop a passion for the art of mathematics rather than the students thinking mathematics it is just another subject that they study in school. I make sure my students progress and improve so they are the best in their class. I break down the problems they struggle with into steps and set them achievable goals so they can tackle the problems accordingly since mathematics is similar to puzzle solving.
