Information About Abigail - King's Lynn tutor - (4 reviews)
This is how 2 referees rated Abigail:
I am 26 and a BA Hons graduate in English Literature and Sociology, although English is my passion!
I live with my husband and wonderful little 2 year old in King's Lynn.
I aim to help students with their GSCE English studies as I believe that English teachers in schools are lacking in their abilities to teach our children properly and efficiently. I have discovered that most teachers today of English in particular do not actually have any degree or higher in it and therefore shouldn't be allowed to teach it!
I thoroughly loved doing my GCSE English course and intend to give my students the same feeling. If we feel passionate about something, we often do so much better at it!
Please feel free to contact me with your questions and comments.
Look forward to hearing from you. :)
I have a 100% success rate since starting tutoring - every single student has achieved grades C and above in their GCSE's.

I have now tutored fifteen students (5 of which are ongoing, some being KS3) since starting this position in April 2015. Each have thoroughly enjoyed having me as their tutor. My youngest student who is 14 had never even looked at or started her GCSE and in 15 weeks I helped her to achieve a B grade in the higher tier English Language practice paper.
It is extremely rewarding to be helping students achieve their potential.
I have done work experience in schools teaching children with learning difficulties and my job before this one involved transporting children with learning difficulties from home to school. It had been the most rewarding experience of my life.
I am also a black belt in Karate as well as one in Kickboxing too. Not only that, I'm a fully-qualified kickboxing coach.
My younger brother who is currently attending Oxford University seeked my help in his GCSE English as it was his weaker subject, I helped him achieve an A* in both Language and Literature and that really says something for how incredibly intelligent he already is!
So I have had many different kinds of teaching experience so far!
I believe that with the right help and understanding from the right teacher, everyone has the ability to achieve anything they want.
I aim to be that for every student that needs me and I honestly would love to see people excelling in English, instead of being worried by it!
The first lesson (more of a fact-finding session) is all about getting to know your son or daughter and you (the parent) so we can agree upon anything important there and then, and this is free!

I was very stressed about not getting the grade I wanted to gain from the GCSE English in order for me to do my nursing this Sept at a University. I only had a month to revise for my exam. I cannot express how depress I was. Until, I met Abigail, who was not just very helpful at all, but also caring as well as her own little family. She was always there beside me, despite having a busy life. She will guide and tel you everything you with the things you need help with :) (Not only that! She will make you believe in yourself or enhance your confidence that you can DO IT in gaining the grade you are aiming for :)! )
I never thought I would be able to achieve the grade I wanted and here I am :) ready to do my nursing degree soon! (*Finally! Woohooo!!! What a relief*).
Therefore, I strongly recommend that you guys take Abigail as your tutor :D. I promise and honestly, you will not regret it!
To: Abby and her little family, thank you for your help :) I owe you an ENDLESS and BIG thank you!!! :D
